Had dinner the first night @ Econo Restaurant. Staff were too busy talking instead of greeting patrons. I ordered aged sirloin steak medium well Diane sauce separate, asked the waitress is the vegetables served with the dish at no extra cost , Yes, the reply! My friend had the whole fish, impressed! But I am not at all satisfied with my steak. It was served medium rare , Diane sauce tasteless , 1/4 meat was fat. Requested staff to cook steak a bit more, it took ages before the dish returned , sure enough steak was VERY well overcooked, almost charred, not happy Furthermore, the bill indicated the so call complimentary vegetable was charged…. Paid with dissatisfaction. … For your information, my friend and I, are both retired restaurateurs of 45 years …
